Abstract

This volume contains the extended abstracts presented at the 20th AESOP Young Academics PhD Conference, held in Prague in 2026. The conference, entitled Urban Interactions Revisited: Bridging Disciplines for an Accessible and Inclusive Environment, brought together doctoral researchers and early-career scholars working across the fields of urban and spatial planning. The contributions explore a wide range of contemporary planning challenges, including accessibility, mobility, housing, public space, governance, environmental sustainability, digitalisation, social inclusion, and spatial justice. Collectively, the volume reflects current research directions within the international planning community and highlights the interdisciplinary approaches adopted by emerging scholars to address complex urban and regional issues.
