dc.description.abstractExtreme weather events are frequent in the context of climate change, which brings severe challenges to cities. Therefore, it is urgent to explore more adaptive planning methods to achieve climate resilience. Correspondingly, this paper conducts spatiotemporal perception research on typhoon disasters in Shanghai based on social media data. The results show that there are 3 types of disaster themes. Meanwhile, there presents different spatiotemporal characteristics among public concern index, negative sentiment intensity and positive sentiment intensity. Based on above situation, this paper proposes corresponding planning response strategies, and the purpose of this paper is to explore social media data in responding to climate change challenges and provide reference for resilient urban planning.
