Abstract

Official programme of the XII AESOP Congress held at the University of Aveiro, Portugal, from 22 to 25 July 1998, under the theme Planning, Professionals and Public Expectations. The publication contains information about the organisation of the congress, schedules, plenary sessions, thematic parallel sessions, AESOP meetings, workshops, social events, study tours, and practical information for participants. The programme documents over 200 conference papers organised into 15 thematic sessions covering planning systems, planning education, governance, environmental planning, social exclusion, urban policy, infrastructure, and European spatial planning.
