Abstract
The relationship between urban spaces, cultural structures and social interactions are being thoroughly transformed by the digital age. Social processes and new forms of interaction are restructuring urban space within the framework of different developments and paving the way for the emergence of a new society that produces cultural practices outside the conventional realities. These changes have transcended the traditional physical use of urban space, shifting our activities to digital environments and reshaping urban life through digital platforms. Therefore, this study aims to analyse the impact of digital technologies on the reconfiguration of urban and public spaces as well as cultural practices. It examines the hybridization of physical and digital environments in shaping urban dynamics and evaluates their potential to address future urban challenges. The research uses a “design fiction scenario-based survey” technique to model the potential impacts of digitalization on urban spaces.
