| dc.description.abstract | This article explores how tactical urbanism and transdisciplinary approaches intersect in fostering urban resilience within Türkiye’s evolving planning context. Tactical urbanism, characterised by small-scale, low-cost, and community-led interventions, promotes rapid adaptation and public engagement. In contrast, transdisciplinary approaches integrate diverse disciplines and stakeholder perspectives to address systemic urban challenges through long-term, collaborative strategies. Drawing on international frameworks and Turkish case studies—including Istanbul’s parklet projects and İzmir’s public space renewals—the study reveals that combining these two methods can bridge the gap between experimentation and institutional transformation. It argues that fostering synergy between grassroots initiatives and structured collaboration enables adaptive, inclusive, and context-sensitive urban resilience. Ultimately, integrating both approaches supports sustainable, participatory, inclusive and regenerative urban futures. | |
