Abstract

This paper explores how a More-Than-Human approach can reshape storytelling for landscape planning by integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI), as a tool for co-producing multispecies narratives, and Problem Structuring Methods (PSMs), as participatory methods for addressing complex, multidimensional issues. Within this context, the concept of More-Than-Human-Rights offers a legal and ethical framework that supports entanglements between human and non-human agents. To operationalise these theoretical statements, the case study “Mytilus in Fabula” in the Campi Flegrei area is examined, where humans and non-humans co-construct relational landscape narratives. The findings from this theoretical and practical inquiry open a path to the development of more inclusive, equitable, and multispecies planning practices capable of addressing contemporary ecological challenges.
