Abstract
The perspective of cultural landscape echoes the trend of regionalization, holistic, and dynamic protection of cultural heritage. From this perspective, this study constructs a value cognition framework based on three dimensions, aiming to explore the water culture value of Suqian area. According to history, Suqian formed its unique water network and field patterns under different human-water relationships. Therefore, the value of the water cultural heritage can be distilled into four aspects: the evolutionary history of the coexistence and integration between villages and water, the formation of characteristic water networks and conservancy, the witness of the iteration of modern rural governance and the spirit of water management. Finally, this article proposes strategies providing experience for the protection and revitalization of Suqian area.
