Abstract

The Shanghai Statement was adopted on 14 July 2001 at Tongji University during the World Planning Schools Congress in Shanghai. It reflects a joint commitment by representatives of national and international planning education associations to strengthen global communication, improve the quality and visibility of planning education, and establish an inclusive international network to support future cooperation and congress activities.
