Circular Cities and Regions: Planning for Sustainable Social and Inclusive Communities

Abstract

This document presents the introductory webpage of the AESOP Young Academics Conference 2025 titled “Circular Cities and Regions: Planning for Sustainable Social and Inclusive Communities,” held in Hannover, Germany, from 17–20 March 2025. The conference focuses on sustainable urban and regional planning approaches that promote socially inclusive communities and circular development practices. The document contains a welcome message, information about the hosting institution, supporting partners, and funding bodies. The conference was organized by Young Academics from the Faculty of Architecture and Landscape Sciences (FAL) at Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz University Hannover and supported by the Ministry of Science and Culture of Lower Saxony, Leibniz University’s Graduate Academy, and FAL.
