Abstract
Planning (AESOP) and its member institutions. It presents the Association’s origins, objectives, activities, membership categories and organisational structure, together with the AESOP Charter, Executive Committee and Council of Representatives. The main section contains profiles of planning schools based on information supplied by the institutions themselves. Further sections list individual and affiliate members and provide an index of academics involved in planning education. Partly supported by the European Commission’s DG XXII through the Socrates Thematic Network project Improving Planning Education in Europe, the directory was produced to disseminate information about planning schools and their educational activities, strengthen institutional contacts and support the development of a European planning education network.
